AIG, LOGL, AMSC, SLV, KKD, WAMUQ, TBBC, YNDX, NFLX
Chartis AIG (AIG:NYSE) I hate to state the obvious, but this monster $435 million secondary offering will occupy much of the airtime on CNBC and Fox News. The deal was priced at $29 and will present some opportunities for long scalpers once the selling from institutions who are looking for a quick flip is done.
Legend Oil and Gas (LOGL:OB) This penny stock has seen some promo dollars recently, but is basing on extremely light volume. We highlighted the name recently and LOGL should be added to your penny stock list. Could go either way.
American Superconductor (AMSC:NASDAQ) CEO retired and the stock has a cult following despite being smashed recently due to a loss of a Chinese customer. AMSC is a great trading vehicle, but could be hard to borrow if you have a short bias.
IShares Silver Trust (SLV:NYSE) Is this legitimate buying or just a dead cat bounce ? Probably best to let a trend set in before getting involved.
Krispy Kreme (KKD:NYSE) Up again for a second straight day after good earnings. KKD has a great brand and a small market cap. However, it seems like some are waiting to buy on a pullback. If it happens.
Washington Mutual (WAMUQ:PK) This once solid, conservative name is now a penny stock that is the most active stock message board on IHUB. This zombie stock is a staple to penny stock scalpers.
The Brainy Brands (TBBC:OB) This name was well followed by those who closely monitor penny stocks. TBBC surprised some by trading down a little more than 5% after it’s industry wide conference in New York.
General Motors (GM:NYSE) Focus may shift to GM’s upcoming secondary offering once the AIG deal is done.
Yandex (YNDX:NASDAQ) Does the Russian Google follow through tomorrow or are we in the early stages of a social networking bubble. The action in this one is not for the feint of heart.
Netflix Stock (NFLX:NASDAQ) Trying to make another run at the 52 week high, which may shake up shorts and get the talking heads to once again debate the valuation of
