TBBC.OB – Brainy Brands

Oil is getting hammered today and the broader markets are down but that doesn’t necessarily mean that all stocks are going to trade in sympathy with “black gold”. For instance small caps and penny stocks often can trade on their own and at times can make unexplainable moves to both the upside and downside.

Today we are going to highlight a penny stock that has the potential to move higher, the name of the company is The Brainy Brands Company (TBBC.OB) before I get into the details, please add it to your penny stock list. In the penny stock community, TBBC is known as a “new deal” which means it hasn’t been trading for very long. The advantage of participating in a new deal is that you have a smaller shareholder base and don’t have the overhang of sellers at higher prices that you often see in other well known penny stocks.

TBBC is an educational company and runs a full service operation that develops and sells products like DVD’s and games that are targeted to kids under the age of 6. On another note, TBBC.OB does generate revenue, but is operating at a small loss. By no means is TBBC a budding blue chip, but recently we have seen other companies do much more with much less to show on a fundamental basis. TBBC also hasn’t seen a push by the PR community yet but at the time of this entry the volume is a shade under 2 million. So keep an eye on this one and look for what they do with the cash from their covert offering.
