TM, CYS, GS, LEXG, CAT
Toyota Motors (TM:NYSE) Shares have been weak since being run higher by short covering and bottom fishers who bought post Japanese Earthquake. However, news on the Camry carried TM higher today, but a break the support at $70 could confirm the downtrend despite the good news.
Cypress Sharpridge (CYS:NYSE) With bond yields so low, income buyers have been forced to buy more speculative names like CYS. The dividend is over 18% as of Tuesday’s close. Just keep in mind that CYS often does spot secondary offerings and shorts often flock to this name when the they feel a deal might come.
Goldman Sachs (GS:NYSE) Underperformed the group today and that might concern some. Remember, it’s tough for the finanacials to rally if GS and JP Morgan (JPM:NYSE) aren’t the leaders.
Lithium Exploration Group (LEXG:OB) LEXG had a strong day as penny stock buyers rallied the stock for an plus 8% close. The volume was fairly strong compared to recent days, but this morning’s PR was pretty fluffy. Add LEXG to your penny stock list on a just in case basis.
Caterpillar (CAT:NYSE) Shares of CAT did well late in the afternoon and finished off a nice day. Keep in mind that CAT is still in a downtrend, but has an upside gap to fill near the $90 level.
