DUNR Dune Energy (DUNR) is an independent company based in Houston and founded in 1998. Their special interest is developing and acquiring properties that manufacture crude oil and natural gas. The company operates alng the Gulf coast of Texas and Louisiana and has 27 facilities that produce natural gas and oil; between them, the company’s holdings cover around 90,000 acres. The amount of proved oil and gas reserves were around 105.5 Bcfe, as of the end of 2009. Dune Energy’s oil and gas products are mostly purchased by US based refineries and pipelines.
