Stocks to Watch
Here are some names to watch for your trading day on Thursday. As always these equities range from large cap companies to hot penny stocks. Remember to add these names to your list of stocks.
Techalt (TECA.PK) This sub penny stock name makes to list two days in a row. Basically, because it’s once again, the most active IHUB message board. Penny stock scalpers must have been sellers today because TECA closed down over 20%. Is there a bounce tomorrow ? We will see.
Lithium Exploration (LEXG.OB) LEXG is once again on our watch list this week. Shares ripped again today to close up over 50%. This penny stock has simply been a beast and should remain volatile for the short term.
Avatar Ventures (AVCC.OB) We issued an alert this AM to subscribers. The shares closed up over 10% for the day. Hopefully we see some follow through going into the weekend. AVCC could follow LEXG‘s footsteps and become next weeks hottest penny stock.
US Steel (X:NYSE) Beat up today after the Goldman downgrade and weak earnings. This old school name is just simply a great trading vehicle. Letter X has been a favorite of scalpers and swing traders all over the world. Just remember that it could get ugly on a break of $45. Look at the chart when if add it your list.
ProShares UltraShort Silver (ZSL:NYSE) As you have probably noticed, we have put a silver ETF or a silver stock on our stocks to watch list quite often in the past few weeks. I just want to highlight this 2x short silver ETF for you so you know don’t have to scramble for a stock symbol if silver cracks. You have no idea how many times traders see an epic news event, and can’t find the proper ETF symbol. Commit this one to memory just in case, but remember, ZSL set a 52 week low today.
HyPower Fuel (HYPF.PK) Only listed this one for nostalgic reasons. It’s was the most active RagingBull message board stock under $2. It’s weird, back in the day, Ragingbull was so far ahead of the curve. I felt like I lived on that website.
The Fresh Market (TFM:NYSE) Doing a secondary offering in the AM and shares are apparently in high demand by institutions. I like to mention secondary offerings so people aren’t alarmed if the happen to see there stock down, for what they think is no apparent reason. Add this one to your list. There might be an opportunity if it’s priced deep in the hole.
Amazon.com (AMZN:NYSE) Up almost 8% after a mild open and traded over 4x it’s normal volume, AMZN also set an all time high. Some say it’s too expensive, but you have to be nuts to short charts like this one. Remember, always look for a breakdown in technicals before shorting high fliers. Otherwise you are playing with a loaded gun. Although, here might be another example of sometimes the sidelines look nice.
